Evolution Stages:

• Stage 1: Caterpillar: A tiny, incredibly curious caterpillar Pokémon. Its antennae twitch constantly, exploring its surroundings. It's known for its insatiable appetite for leaves and its surprisingly strong silk threads.

• Stage 2: Cocooncute: Catercute enters a dormant stage, encased in a silken cocoon. It remains largely inactive during this period, conserving energy for its final evolution. Its cocoon is surprisingly resilient, able to withstand minor attacks.

• Stage 3: Buttercute: Evolving from its cocoon, Buttercute retains its childish curiosity and playful nature. Its wings are delicate and iridescent, shimmering with a variety of colors. Despite its graceful appearance, it's surprisingly agile and quick.

Hidden Ability: Guilt Trip (Activates when HP is below 50%): When Buttercute's HP drops below 50%, it unleashes its Guilt Trip ability. Overwhelmed by a sense of vulnerability, it projects an aura of intense guilt onto the opposing Pokémon, preventing it from attacking for 5 turns. This ability is purely psychological; it doesn't inflict any direct damage. The opposing Pokémon is not paralyzed or otherwise hindered, but is simply unable to choose an attack for 5 turns. The effect ends if Buttercute faints.
