In the realm of birds: Bird Island, there was a temple. Ancient birds called Angry Birds knew of a prophecy... The red bird, born every 7 full moons, will save the birds from the pigs. They kept the only red bird egg in that temple. Suddenly, an army of boars broke in and tried to take the red egg. Flare, the elder bird, escaped with the red egg in his talons. He carefully gave the egg to a family of birds and left, hoping the egg would be in good hands. The birds named the red bird Red, because he didn't belong. The other birds made fun of Red. But when he and his “brothers” Chuck and Bomb were played tag in the forest, boars attacked. They held Chuck and Bomb hostage. In a fit of rage, Red summoned his hidden power: red feathers. After saving Terence, the two couldn't believe what Red did. So, they reported to their parents. Red's parents explained that Red wasn't like them and he, in a fit of sadness, ran off. Chuck and Bomb decided to follow Red into the forest, where they found a bird: Flare. Flare told Red that he was part of a prophecy. And so, Flare guided Red to the temple. Red learned that he has many powers, but he must need the help of three other Angry Birds: Zipzap, Arial, and Grounder. Flare taught Red how to fly and sent him on his way to save the three birds and gain knowledge. After saving the three Angry Birds, Flare, Zipzap, Arial, and Grounder, tell Red about another rare red bird like him. An evil bird named Ruby. She was used by the Mighty Boar for his gain. The Mighty Boar plans on destroying all of Bird Island with Ruby's powers. And so, Red- leaving Chuck and the others behind- was tasked to stop Ruby. So, Red ventures to where Ruby was hiding. And, after a fight in the Dark Void, Ruby turns back to a young red bird like Red! Red, believing in change, saved Ruby from the crumbling Dark Void and back to the temple.
