Limitations include a significant drain on the user's stamina with prolonged or intense use. The range is limited, and the effect is less potent against individuals with exceptionally strong wills (like Luffy or stronger opponents). Furthermore, the user cannot influence animals or inanimate objects. The user's own will is also vulnerable; a strong enough counter-will can disrupt or even negate the effect. The user's power is also easily countered by techniques that disrupt mental focus or willpower. Finally, the user's power is less effective against individuals who are already highly motivated or determined. This makes the fruit's power level less than Luffy's but greater than Zoro's, as it offers a tactical advantage in combat and manipulation but lacks the raw destructive power of Luffy's Gum-Gum Fruit or Zoro's swordsmanship.
